If you submit the "Claim Your Region" form or contact us, we collect what you provide: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and the zip code(s) and category you're inquiring about.

Information collected automatically

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site traffic. It is cookieless — it does not use tracking cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across other websites. It reports aggregate data only: page views, referring sites, approximate location (country/region), and device type. We do not run Google Analytics or any advertising pixel.

Our hosting and security providers (Railway and Cloudflare) log standard technical data for every request — IP address, browser type, and timestamp — for security and reliability purposes. Our error-monitoring tool (Sentry) may capture technical details about a page error (such as the page URL and browser type) to help us fix bugs; it is not used for marketing or advertising.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required for the site to function — a session cookie and a CSRF-protection cookie. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so we don't show a cookie-consent banner: there is nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies to consent to.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Route and distribute business-claim and lead inquiries to the relevant business through LeadCore
• Respond to questions you send us
• Operate, secure, and improve the directory and equipment finder
• Understand aggregate site traffic and usage patterns

How we share information

• LeadCore processes and routes region-claim and lead inquiries to the business that claimed that zip code and category.
• Businesses that have claimed a region receive the lead inquiries tied to that zip code and category.
• Affiliate partners (currently Amazon Associates; Awin and Walmart's affiliate program are planned) — when you click an outbound product link in the Equipment Finder, you leave our site and that partner's own privacy policy and cookie practices apply. We don't control or receive personal information back from that click.
• Infrastructure providers (Cloudflare for CDN/DNS/analytics/media storage, Railway for hosting, Sentry for error monitoring) process data on our behalf to run the site.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it (we do not sell or share it). We retain claim and lead inquiry information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
